Yuvraj Singh fails to capitalise the oportunity again

After failing in the first innings of the Ranji trophy game against Bengal, another failure followed for the Indian discarded all-rounder Yuvraj Singh which now has jeopardized all his hopes of making a comeback in the Indian limited-overs squad. Punjab was in a desperate need of  big innings from him as they were chasing a hefty total of 360 on the final day of the third round up.

Yuvraj came at a comfortable situation on a score of 111/2. His team needed someone who could just in and accelerate innings as soon as possible. Yuvi was the right man to go. came in a had a goo strat by hitting two sixes and one four. he and Manan Vora filed u44 runs into time with Yuvi scoring 26 of the total bit in order to go big again,Yuvi was trapped in front of the stumps  by the discarded Indian spinner Pray Ojha who dismantled the Punjab hopes to win the game as he was the bg hope for the team. Soon he followed with another wicket of Manan Vora win added to the team’s woes.

Yuvi’s wicket was a big heartbreak for Punjab. Punjab was left tottering at a core f 162 for six in 39 overs with still 200 runs needed in no time with just 4 wickets in hands.

He came in and started off the blitz right away by hitting two sixes and one four. Yuvi and Manan Vohra had already piled up 44 runs amongst themselves in no time with Yuvi scoring 26 of this total. He was looking dangerous and the team was on a right track to chase down the huge total before the discarded Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha dismantled the Punjab hopes by trapping Yuvi in front of the stumps. Soon, he followed with another wicket of Manan Vohra adding to the Punjab’s woes. Yuvi’s wicket was a big heartbreak for Punjab as soon they were tottering at a score of 162 for six in 39 overs with still 200 runs needed in no time with just 4 wickets in hands.

With yet another failure in this game, hopes of Yuvraj making a comeback in the Indian team has now become more dim and bleak.

Though, he became the center of attraction with a brilliant century that century on a tough track at Lali but with a dual failure in this game, selectors might find it difficult to add him to the squad.

Also with team India not playing more than 8 white ball games after this, Dhoni might not risk any other player before the Champions trophy which is scheduled to be played next year in the month of June.
