With legendary sprinter Usain Bolt’s illustrious career set to end this week, India’s veteran batsman Yuvraj Singh has paid an interesting tribute to the Jamaican.
The 30-year-old, who has won every Olympic and world 100m and 200m since 2008 with the exception of the 100m at the 2011 Daegu world titles, will bring an end to his glorious career with the conclusion of the ongoing IAAF World Athletics Championship in London. As expected, tributes have been flowing in from all over the world for the retiring sprinter and after India captain Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh followed suit.
Posting the video of the race that happened between him and Bolt in Bengaluru in 2014, Yuvraj wrote on Instagram: “Looks like I’m the only man on this planet to beat u ever ? @usainbolt your legacy will forever be unmatched. Go well legend cause you’re #fastestforever #livedareinspire ??.”
During the event in 2014, Bolt’s team had defeated Yuvraj’s side in a four over per side match. The Jamaican star had scored a 19-ball 45 with the help of five sixes to help his team chase down 59. He had also slammed three sixes off the bowling of Yuvraj Singh.

In the next event which was an exhibition race, Yuvraj came out on top against the world’s fastest man with a cheeky push from behind.
