After retiring from international cricket, the southpaw played in franchise cricket around the globe. He has represented Toronto Nationals in the GT20 League and has also played for the Maratha Arabians in Abu Dhabi T10. The left-handed batsman was last seen on the field in March 2021 during the Road Safety Series.

But now, it seems Yuvraj Singh is getting ready to make a return to cricket once again. In a late-night bombshell posted on his Instagram, the 39-year-old hinted that he may be returning to cricket in February next year. But looks like he specifically mentioned February because that is the time when the Road Safety World Series takes place. The left-hander is a key member of the India Legends outfit that is led by Sachin Tendulkar.
“God decides your destiny !! On public demand, I’ll be back on the pitch hopefully in February! Ain’t nothing like this feeling! Thank you for your love and wishes to mean a lot to me! Keep supporting it’s our team and a true fan will show his or her support in tough times,” he said.

It may be recalled that Yuvraj Singh won the Man of the Tournament title in the 2011 World Cup, where he performed superbly with both the bat and ball. He scored 362 runs at an average of 90.50 and claimed 15 wickets too. He played the best cricket of his life in the 2011 World Cup, which India won after a hiatus of 28 years, but he was diagnosed with cancer a few days after the World Cup’s conclusion.
