Veteran India all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh has recently admitted that he is aiming the upcoming domestic season after having some fitness issues in the last season.
Meanwhile, Yuvraj was just a mere shadow of his past as he struggled to put any significant performances. The 36-year-old last represented India when the national team toured the Windies in July 2017. Thereafter, he went out of the selectors’ radar owing to his poor form.
Yuvraj Singh represented Kings XI Punjab in this year’s IPL and couldn’t live up to the expectations. He could manage to score only 65 runs in eight matches at a poor average of 10.83.
However, the southpaw was India’s hero during the 2007 and 2011 World Cup wins. He contributed significantly with both bat and balls to guide India to the coveted title. Although he has fallen out of the radar, Yuvraj is trying hard to make a comeback in the national squad.
Yuvraj Singh looking forward to the upcoming season
The Punjab-born all-rounder recently posted a video, where he was doing powerlifting. Previously, there were questions regarding his fitness and he has now vouched to come back stronger.
Yuvraj Singh also noted that he is looking forward to the new season and admitted that it is not late to learn something www six come india
