Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is getting ready to back on the cricket field. The 37-year-old Yuvraj will feature in the T10 League 2019 or Abu Dhabi T10 2019.
Yuvraj Singh was one of the greatest all-rounders in international cricket history. From 2000 to 2017, Yuvraj played 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20Is where the left-handed batsman scored 1,900 runs (average 33.92), 8,701 runs (average 36.55) and 1,177 runs (average 28.02) respectively. Also, the left-arm spinner took nine Test wickets, 111 ODI wickets and 28 T20I wickets.

Yuvraj was one of the stars during India’s winning the ICC World T20 2007 and ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. He won the Player of the Tournament award in the ICC CWC 2011 for his brilliant all-round performances.
In last June, Yuvraj announced his retirement from international cricket. This retirement has made him available for the foreign shorter-format tournaments.
Yuvraj featured in the Global T20 Canada in last July-August. In that tournament, he played for Toronto Nationals. He scored 153 runs in six innings (average 38.25) during that tournament, including one half-century.
Yuvraj Singh will play for Maratha Arabians
Now, Yuvraj will participate in the Abu Dhabi T10 2019. In the third edition of this tournament, Yuvraj will play for the first time and that too for Maratha Arabians. He is the Indian icon player of this team. Chris Lynn, Dwayne Bravo, Lasith Malinga etc. are some of the other stars in this team. Former Zimbabwe wicketkeeper Andy Flower is the new head coach of this team.

After joining Maratha Arabians, Yuvraj said, “It is an exciting new format to be part of. I am looking forward to joining forces with some of the world’s biggest names in this league and representing team Maratha Arabians. It is going to be a thrilling time for the game of cricket. It’s heartwarming to see leagues like T10 putting in so much hard work and offering such exciting format for sports enthusiasts.”
The Abu Dhabi T10 2019 will run from 15th November to 24th November 2019. A total of eight teams will participate in this tournament.
