Yuvraj Singh, who retired from international cricket last year, has shared his cricket journey with great Indian cricketers. He has played alongside Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid, who were the prominent cricketers of their era. Yuvraj, in his recent post, has shown his gratitude to the legendary cricketer Sachin for framing his career in the right direction.
Taking to Twitter, Yuvraj Singh expressed how was his first meeting with the ‘Master Blaster‘. He wrote that he felt like he has shaken hands with god. Then he thanked Sachin for guiding him in his toughest phase. He also wrote that he would play the same role for a youngster as the legend did for him.
“Thank u, Master. When we 1st met, I felt I have shaken hands with god. U’ve guided me in my toughest phases. U taught me to believe in my abilities,” yuvraj sing wrote.
“I’ll play the same role for youngsters that you played for me. Looking 4wd (forward) to many more wonderful memories with you.”
Sachin Tendulkar’s first memory with Yuvraj Singh:
Yuvraj’s response came after Sachin Tendulkar shared his first memory with the former as Yuvraj completed one year of his retirement on Wednesday.
“It’s been a year since You(Vi) retired… My first memory of you was during the Chennai camp & I couldn’t help but notice that you were very athletic & deceptively quick at Point. I needn’t talk about your 6 hitting ability, it was evident you could clear any ground in the world,” he wrote.
Yuvraj Singh and Sachin Tendulkar were the part of the 2011 World Cup triumph. They had also shared several significant victories for the team.
This year in March, The duo also played for India legend in the Road Safety tournament, but the series was postponed because of the pandemic.
