Indian spinner Yuzvedra Chahal has become a social media sensation as he has been active in every platform and has been engaging with fans very rapidly. Recently, he has grabbed the attention because of a hilarious reply to the International Chess Federation’s (ICF) Twitter post.

On Friday, Taking to Twitter, ICF announced the Indian contingent scheduled to participate in the Nations Cup. The list included the name of Viswanathan Anand (2751), Vidit Gujrathi (2636), Pentala Harikrishna (2690), Koneru Humpy (2483) which will be representing India in the competition.

Responding to a Tweet, the leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal again caught the eyes of the netizens after posting a funny reply, asking where is his name on the list.

Actually, Chahal has been a great chess player in his youth days before taking cricket as his career. The 29-year old has won the National U-12 Championship in Kolkata back in 2002. He has also represented India at the Asian and World Junior Championships during his chess-playing days.

Well, he is, now, vital cog for the cricket team. The spinner is the premier spinner in the shorter formats. So far, he has played 52 ODIs and 42 T20Is. In T20Is, he has picked up 55 wickets with an average of 24.34 at an economy rate of 8.18. He has collected 91 wickets in ODIs.

Replying to Chahal’s comment, ICF invited him to join the commentary box and cheer up Indian players. Even, the cricketer accepted the role and seemed happy to participate in the tournament.
