Matt Renshaw returns back to Australian Test fold –

The 21-year-old handed left-handed batsman had a rollicking start to his Test career. However, he struggled in between which saw him being sidelined for the Test fold.

The Yorkshire-born batsman Renshaw played 10 Tests in which he scored 623 runs in 18 innings. He smashed a solitary hundred and three fifties for the Kangaroos since making his debut in November 2016 against Australia.

Following the verdict of world cricketing body ICC over skipper Steven Smith which eventually resulted in the introducing of the young gun.

With hosts South Africa leading the four-match series 2-1, the final Test will be beginning in Johannesburg on March 30.

Zimbabwean official suspended for two decades –

In a stern move, the Dubai-based world cricket Board International Council Council gave a severe punishment to an official from Zimbabwe.

Rajan Nayar, who serves as an official in the Zimbabwean domestic fold has been suspended for 20 years. The move came after Nayar tried to influence Zimbabwe skipper captain by offering him a bribe of $30,000 to malign the game.

However, Cremer without wasting any time has reported it to the ICC before investigation pushed the Board to deliver the verdict on March 27.

International football friendlies results –

In the ongoing international football friendly-leg, overall nine matches were held on Monday (March 26).

The Czech Republic 4-1 China

The Czech Republic thrashes China at Guangxi Stadium by 4-1. China took the early lead when Fan scored in the fifth minute into the play.

However, the Czech Republic made a strong return to score all four goals in the second half of the game. Kalas scored in the 58th minute as Schick took the lead in 59th minute.

Moreover, Krmencik scored in the 62nd minute and Kaderabek in 78th minute respectively.

Finland 5-0 Malta:

In another one-sided clash, Finland routs Malta by the five goals to nil. Pukki scored the brace for Finland.

Simultaneously, Taimi, Jensen and Soiri were other goal scorers.

Netherlands 3-0 Portugal

Portugal received a severe beating against the Netherlands at Stade de Geneve. In front of the 20,006 recorded crowd, Netherland made things pretty hard for Portugal.

For the Netherlands, Depay scored in the eleventh minute before Babel registered a goal in 32nd minute. Van Dijk also scored a goal to extend the lead. Portugal’s Cancelo was handed over a red card during the match in Greece.
