10 games to keep you busy in the international break

The Premier League has come to a grinding halt this weekend as the international break looms large over the first couple of weeks of the month of October.
The league has provided some interesting moments, with the points table already taking shape and there could not be a worse time to give the club a break in the middle of the season.
However, for football fans around the world, the international break is not a break from the sport.
In fact, with the World Cup qualifiers scheduled for this break, it is bound to provide some high octane entertainment these two weeks.
Here are 10 games to look out for in the international break this month:
Italy vs Spain (WC Qualifier):
Friday, 7th October; KO: 12:15am IST
Arguably the match of the international break between Spain and Italy will be played in Turin and will be a cracker of a game. Both teams won their first game comprehensively and will hope for a win in this game.
England vs Malta (WC Qualifier):
Saturday, 8th October; KO: 9:30pm IST
After a last minute victory in the first game of the qualifiers, England will face Malta this week in under their interim manager Gareth Southgate. Malta lost their first game and will not be high on confidence travelling to the UK.
Germany vs the Czech Republic (WC Qualifier):
Sunday, 9th October; KO: 12:15am IST
The holders of the title, Germany, won their first game easily with a 3-0 victory and will face a Czech Republic side that drew their first game against Ireland.
Russia vs Belgium (Friendly):
Tuesday, 11th October; KO: 12:15am IST
The only friendly that has some spice to it, Russia, who are in the finals as hosts, will be up against Belgium in a Friendly next week in a sizzling tie in between all the qualifiers.
Netherlands vs France (WC Qualifier):
Tuesday, 11th October; KO: 12:15am IST
After disastrous campaigns in the last two UEFA trophies, the Dutch national team started their new qualification campaign with a draw and will face France, the runners-up of the EUROs next week at home.
Germany vs Northern Ireland (WC Qualifier):
Wednesday, 12th October; KO: 12:15am IST
The second qualifier in the break for both team. Germany will be hoping to get the better of a Northern Ireland side that defied expectations in the EURO16 recently.
Slovenia vs England (WC Qualifier):
Wednesday, 12th October; KO: 12:15am IST
England’s second qualifier this break is away to Slovenia. It will be the first time that Southgate takes his team outside the UK and it will be a game to enjoy even for the neutral.
Colombia vs Uruguay (WC Qualifier):
Wednesday, 12th October; KO: 2:00am IST
The first tough game in the World Cup qualifiers from South America is between Colombia and Uruguay. Both countries will put out their best XIs and will surely produce a match worth watching.
Argentina vs Paraguay (WC Qualifier):
Wednesday, 12th October; KO: 5:00am IST
The runners-up of the Copa America earlier this year, Argentina, will be up against Paraguay in their second qualifier in this break. Lionel Messi who announced his retirement at the end of that defeat will be back in action for his side.
Venezuela v Brazil (WC Qualifier):
Wednesday, 12th October; KO: 6:00am IST
Brazil was knocked out of the Copa America cheaply as they failed to have an impact. However, they will hope to take all three points from their qualifier against Venezuela next week.
