Wayne Rooney created quite a buzz over the internet by celebrating his goal in one of the all-time best celebrations seen in the Premier League. Manchester United skipper stole the ball from Nabil Bentaleb and ran pass three spurs defenders to slot the ball pass Hugo Lloris.
The goal in itself was worth celebrating as it had put aside all the doubts over United’s ability to win big games but for Rooney the celebration was more than just the goal, it was personal.
After his leaked home video dragged in the media, Rooney had a point to prove and he did just that by scoring the wonder goal and mocking the “Knockout” act from the video and converting in to a celebration.
