The Argentina international was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates. With Arsenal desperate to sign a world class striker, it seemed that Higuain will be signed by the Gunners. However, Arsene Wenger failed to step up his interest and stuck with Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott in the end. Higuain finally ended at Napoli before joining Juventus.
