2018 FIFA World Cup: Belgium vs Tunisia - Match Preview 1

Belgium will be looking to all but seal their place in the next round when they take on Tunisia in the first of the three games on Saturday.

Roberto Martinez’s men made a dominating start to their campaign, dismantling Panama 3-0. Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku shone with a brace against the World Cup debutants while Dries Mertens was on the scoresheet.

Tunisia, on the other hand, are looking to bounce back after a late 2-1 defeat to England in their opening match.  The Carthage Eagles had all but sealed a precious point by defending for much of their match against England before Harry Kane scored a late winner. With their hopes of making it to knockouts very slim, they will have to show more attacking intent against the Red Devils.

Venue and time:

Belgium and Tunisia will lock horns at the Spartak Stadium Moscow. The action will begin at 5:30 PM IST on Saturday.

Players to look out for:

For Belgium, it will be their man of the moment Lukaku. The forward shone in the opener and will be keen to prove himself again. With Tunisia’s defence giving a good account of themselves against England, Lukaku will have to play a big role in the last third. Moreover, one more goal will make him the top-scoring Belgian in major tournaments. Lukaku has five, just one behind Jan Ceulemans.
