Twitter Reactions: Manchester City 0-0 Real Madrid

When Manchester City were drawn with Real Madrid in the semi-final round of the UEFA Champions League, every soccer fan was very excited and was hoping for a very exciting game ahead.
Real Madrid and Man City have faced each other before, but this time, the Milan final is at stake and also with a possibility of meeting their future manager Pep Guardiola’s team Bayern Munich in the final, made this match pretty interesting. But, alas! How wrong we were.
Probably one of the most boring games of football we have witnessed throughout all the recent seasons, with a final scoreline of 0-0, that too in a UEFA Champions League semi-final and the hosts failing to create any clear goalscoring opportunities.
Pellegrini’s team must thank their goalkeeper Joe Hart. It is his individual brilliance that keeps the citizens hopes at the tie to Bernabeu, but after failing to score at the Etihad, the Sky Blues have a mountain to climb.
Trolling tweets about the boring game went viral but many praised Hart for his brilliance:
Anyone fancy a game of snakes and ladders?
