5-Star Manchester City Blow Away Cardiff City To Maintain Unbeaten Start

Manchester City bounced back from their disappointing defeat to Lyon in the Champions League midweek by thrashing Cardiff City 5-0.
Sergio Aguero celebrated his new contract with Manchester City by opening the flood gates as he scored his 205th goal for the club. The Argentina star finished brilliantly after being set up by Bernadro Silva in the 32nd-minute.
Three minutes after the assist, Silva got his name on the scoresheet. The Portugal international latched onto Leroy Sane’s cross and looped his backwards header into the far corner. And the game was all but over for Cardiff City when Ilkay Gundogan made it three just before the break. The former Borussia Dortmund star played a short one-two with Raheem Sterling on the edge of the area before curling an unstoppable effort.
Things could have gone worse for Cardiff before the break but Joe Ralls luckily escaped with only a yellow card from ref Michael Oliver for a horrible studs-up challenge on Gundogan.
