7. Yannick Bolasie to Everton: £25m
Bolasie played an integral role at Crystal Palace, scoring nine league goals in his three seasons at the club, but the £25m valuation was a surprise to a few. Phil Kirkbride of the ECHO simply believes that “It’s a lot of money, but that’s the way the market’s going these days”. Given that Everton were also close to splashing out £30m on Moussa Sissoko, their fans will hope that the club are not becoming too prone to going overboard with their finances.
