9 Changes Made!! Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Wolves In The Fa Cup

FA Cup 4th Round; Saturday, 28th Jan; Anfield, Liverpool; KO: 12:30 pm (6:00 pm IST)

Liverpool’s Premier League season took a turn for the worse this month as they have managed to take just 2 points from three league games so far this season. They were also kicked out of the League Cup earlier this week in the semi-final of the competition against Southampton and they will be back in action this week as they try hard to keep their FA Cup dream running for another round. Having beaten Plymouth Argyle in the 3rd round of the competition over two legs, Liverpool will be looking to get just their second victory this month when they face Wolverhampton at Anfield this weekend. The Reds are expected to put in a similar side to the one that faced Plymouth in the previous round and here is the predicted lineup that Klopp might field on the night:

Team News:

The Reds are still without the likes of Danny Ings, Marko Grujic and Sadio Mane for this game at the weekend. Nathaniel Clyne is expected to be fit for this game but might not be risked and remains the only other injury concern for the Reds.

Expected lineup (4-3-3):

Loris Karius:

The German shot stopper has been superb in the last couple of outing for his side and will hope to put in a similar performance this weekend.

Trent Alexander Arnold:

The young full-back is having a dream season at the back and Klopp is expected to stick with him for this game to give Clyne an extended period of recovery.

Joe Gomez:

The English defender was decent in the previous outing coming back from an injury and is expected to keep his place in the side at the back.

Lucas Leiva:

The Brazilian has been used as a center back to good effect this season and he should keep his place in the side for this game.

Alberto Moreno:

The only left-back in the squad, Moreno, is unable to get into the first team under Klopp and will get a chance to prove himself in this cup tie.

Kevin Stewart:

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been immense for Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp and should start this game at the weekend.

Ovie Ejaria:

One of the most promising players in the academy at Anfield, Ejaria, will get his chance to prove himself yet again this weekend.

Georginio Wijnaldum:

Having got just a few minutes under his belt in the League Cup game, Wijnaldum, should be fresh and ready to go for this game against the Wolves.

Sheyi Ojo:

The English winger is yet to make an impact on the squad at Liverpool since coming back from injury but Liverpool should stick with him for this game against the Wolves.

Ben Woodburn:

The 17-year old has already made history for Liverpool this season and Klopp will hope that he can put in an impressive performance in this FA Cup game.

Divock Origi:

Also got only a few minutes in the League Cup semi-final and is expected to lead the attack for Liverpool in this game.
