Alexis Sanchez Named Arsenal's Player Of The Month 1

Alexis Sanchez has been voted as Arsenal’s Player of the Month by their fans.

Although the Chile international did not have a very good month as per his standards but his two goals against Bournemouth were enough for him to win the award for the second time this term. The Gunners did not have a very good November as they won just one and drew all  the remaining games but considering the fact that they played against the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain without some of their key players, they will be pleased with the results.

With 54.7 percent votes, the Chilean edged out Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil for the award.

With 26.2 percent votes, Giroud,who scored thrice including the equaliser against United and registered one assist, came second in the poll. Ozil, who scored a sensational solo goal against Ludogorets in the Champions League and made two assists garnered 9.3 percent votes and finished third in the list.

Meanwhile, Sanchez has continued his November form in December too. He has taken his goal tally to 11 this term with a sensational hat-trick against West Ham. He is now the joint leading scorer this term with Chelsea’s Diego Costa and would hope that his form help his team end their long wait for a major silverware.
