The summer transfer window of the season2015/16 has closed last night and all the clubs have made the necessary changes they required.

Manchester City were the highest spenders among all the Premier League clubs this transfer window as they made two record signings this summer. They roped in Kevin De Bruyne for club record transfer fee and Raheem Sterling from Liverpool. Sterling transfer was the highest for any British player in the history.

Arsenal were the most dormant side as they recruited just one player, Petr Cech from Chelsea. A total of £870 million were spent by all the 20 Premier League clubs which is itself a record.
