Cristiano Ronaldo has not travelled with Manchester United for the preseason citing some personal issue. However, reports tell that the star forward is looking for a new club along with his agent Jorge Mendes.
Ronaldo had conveyed it to United last month that he wants to leave after just 12 months at the club. Mendes further held talks with interested parties in Chelsea, Bayern Munich and PSG for a move.
But the trio of clubs have now abstained themselves from signing the Portuguese. Amidst an uncertain future, Ronaldo seems to have made a U-turn on his wish to leave United.

Though he has not travelled for the preseason, it hasn’t stopped Cristiano Ronaldo from continuing with his daily work-out. The 37-year-old in known for maintaining a robust physique and has been working on the same while at home.
Cristiano Ronaldo in a Man United kit a glimmer of hope
Manchester United have been doing everything possible to convince Ronaldo to stay at the club. Gallingly for Ronaldo, United missing out on the Champions League has been the last straw on the camel’s back.
Often regarded as Mr. Champions League, Ronaldo wants to continue in the competition which won’t be possible with United. But since there hasn’t been a solution to his crisis the striker seems to have accepted to stay at United.
His recent Instagram post suggests Ronaldo could be open to continue at United. The forward is seen working out in the picture, donning United’s training gear.
Cristiano has captioned the photo ‘HARD WORK’, as he continues to put in the efforts ahead of the next season.

However, this is not the first time Ronaldo has featured in a United kit after he decided to leave the club. The Portuguese was also seen in United’s new kit for next season in their kit-launch.
But it is still unclear whether the forward will remain with Manchester United for next season. On the other hand, new boss Erik ten Hag has insisted that he sees Ronaldo in his team for the 2022/23 season.
“We are planning for Cristiano Ronaldo for the season and that’s it. I’m looking forward to working with him. Cristiano is not for sale. He is in our plans and we want success together,” said Ten Hag in a presser.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo has received a whopping offer of £210 million for two seasons from a Saudi club according to CNN Portugal. Ronaldo however is set to reject the proposal in order to stay in Europe.
