Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has registered his name in the record books after being named Manager of the Month for the third time in a row.
The former Juventus and Italy manager has bagged the award for December after the Blues won all five of their league matches against Manchester City, West Brom, Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth. He also won the awards for the previous two months as his team won 13-games in a row which came to an end after the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last week.
Conte, who left behind Jurgen Klopp, Jose Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino to win the award, has now become the first manager to take the award for three consecutive months in the Premier League history.

Expressing his delight after achieving the incredible feat, he said:“I’m very proud.”
“It’s a great honour for me but I want to say thanks to all of my players, my staff (pictured below) and the club because we won the award together. Now it’s important to continue to work very well together.
“I enjoyed my first Christmas period a lot. This type of atmosphere only happens in England and it was fantastic. I hope to experience it again many times in the future.
“When you win you usually see a lot of positive things and every game was different. We won six matches and to do that, especially in December, is very difficult.
“If I had to pick out one game I would choose West Brom because it was very tough and we scored with 15 minutes remaining. My players showed me great character and a strong will to win right until the end that day, which I always like to see.”
Meanwhile, Conte will hope that his team return to winning ways in the Premier League after the defeat at White Hart Lane. Currently leading the table by 5 points, the Blues will take on defending champions Leicester City on Saturday.
