Arsene Wenger, though took his time in the transfer market, was able to solve atleast a few of the problems that his squad were facing at the start of the new season.
The manager spent more than £50m on Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez in the final week of the transfer window and will be looking forward to the start of the season after the international break.
But the manager will have one eye on every player who he wants to get to the Emirates in years to come and one such player who has given the Gunners some great news is PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The French U21 international spent an year in England in the Manchester City academy before moving away but it is understood that he is now ready to make a move back to the Premier League soon.
Rabiot joined PSG back in 2008 and was only given a contract in 2012 and has ever since been an integral part of the squad in Paris.
He has already made 79 appearances for the senior side and is on the cusp of breaking into the senior national side all at a tender age of 21.
London outfit Arsenal have had an eye on the midfielder for two summers now but PSG’s reluctance to sell has seen them return empty handed form every approach.
However, the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are also said to be interested in the player who has recently revealed that he is pondering over a move back to England.
“I really liked my time in England and the life there, even outside of football,” he told French outlet Telefoot.
“I told myself that I will return one day. I have always had the desire to play in England, it is in me.
“The Premier League – that is football,” he added.
The Premier League is already host to a number of top class individuals and it is not a surprise to see more and more young talent attracted to its charms.
Do you think Arsenal can get their man next summer?
