Arsenal have joined in the race to sign Barcelona’s forward Pedro, if they were ever out of the talks at first place. Pedro has been a subject to transfer to Premier League with Arsenal and Liverpool being the two front runners.
Despite signing a new contract with Barcelona, Pedro is seeking a move away from Camp Nou. Pedro is nowhere near to overcoming the trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez. He is only a substitute at Camp Nou and he needs a move to prove his worth for his national side.
Euro 2016 is forcing Pedro to look for a move away
European Championship is not too far and with emergence of new Spanish forwards, Pedro will only be able to find a place in Spanish national squad if he gets a regular playing time.
Unfortunately, that is not going to come if he remains at Barcelona. Arsenal and Liverpool have the chance to sign the attacker and this should be the time for them to make a move.
Liverpool and Arsenal should not be afraid of £110million buy-out clause
£110million buyout clause is just a number as believed by those close to Barcelona and Pedro. The Spanish international is not getting enough playing time under Luis Enrique and it is provoking the play to consider moving to either Arsenal or Liverpool.
It is believed that, Pedro will be made available at a mere £15million, which must come as a bargain for both the Premier League sides who are looking to sign a goal scoring forward.
