Arsenal Preparing Sensational Bid For Serie A Star To Leapfrog Manchester United And Chelsea
According to the latest transfer news from Italian media outlets, Arsenal are set to challenge other Premier League giants including Man United, Chelsea and Man City in race for highly-rated Atalanta defender Mattia Caldara, who has attracted attention of European top clubs due to his impressive performances.
Alongside with English powerhouses, the Serie A champions Juventus are keen on the 22-year-old but the reports from Gazetta Dello Sport claim they face Premier League competition for his signature.

The 22-year-old defender has made his Serie A debut back in 2013 and has played eight times in total for La Dea. The Italian has been a regular in the side this season, making eleven appearances.
Caldara has a great scoring record for a centre-half as well, already scoring three goals this season. The talented youngster has had loan spells at both Trapani and Cesena and played nine times for Italy under-21s.
