Arsenal have joined Liverpool in the race to capture the latest starlet obliterating the Spanish defences, Onaki Williams. The player currently plies his trade for the Basque club, Athletic Bilbao and has been scoring for fun for them over the season. He already has 10 goals in barely 21 appearances this season, which comes from playing as a striker or a winger and is hugely impressive considering that he is only 21-year-old.
He is one of the fastest players in the league and has been recorded to be running at speeds past the 20 miles per hour mark in matches which is nothing short of astonishing for a player of his age. He will certainly be a player in the mould of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the Dortmund striker, who also has been obliterating defences with his blistering speed and impeccable finishing.
The player is a healthy 6 feet one and can hold up the ball decently even though he prefers chasing the balls playing in spaces ahead of him. He will be a player to keep an eye on even if he fails to join either English side over the winter. Klopp and Wenger would certainly rue the decision to reject him as they currently have the golden chance to buy him for a mere 15 million pounds and if they fail, Bilbao will almost certainly bump up the price to an eye-watering 76.3 million pounds which enter the record transfer territory.
Klopp is said to be in the driving seat for the striker as he would want to make another Marco Reus of the talented player but Wenger might just feel he has another Henry on his hands and he might be reluctant to let this opportunity pass this time round, unlike Aubameyang.
