Premier League trio Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly monitoring the situation of out of favour Manchester City star Sergio Aguero.
The Argentina international started the new season with a bang under new coach Pep Guardiola by netting eleven goals in only six but was a surprise omission from the starting eleven for the Champions League tie against Barcelona. He was also dropped from the starting eleven in the games against Everton and Manchester United. The scenario has raised speculations about the Argentine’s future at the club.

Before his team’s EFL Cup tie against Manchester United, Pep Guardiola had said that he wanted the striker to stay at the club for a ‘long, long time’.
“Sergio played really well the last game. I want to be clear that I am so happy with Sergio, and hopefully, he can stay for a long, long time here,” he told a news conference.
“When I said it depends on Sergio [when he leaves] it doesn’t mean I don’t want him to stay. I want, from deep in my heart, that he can stay here and play with us because he’s a special player,” Pep added.
However, Spanish news outlet Don Balon has claimed that the striker has already made up his mind regarding his future and is eyeing up his options. The report claimed that Chelsea are willing to go all out for the striker if he wants to leave the club.
The former Atletico Madrid striker has been one of City’s top performers since he joined the club in 2011. With a prolific record of 147 goals in 217 games for City, Aguero is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in world football, and with the vast experience of the Premier League, he will be an asset for any club.
Meanwhile, the Premier League clubs are set to get stiff competition in their pursuit for the striker as according to the report, European giants Real Madrid, Juventus and PSG are also monitoring the 28-year old’s situation at the Etihad.
