Arsenal finished fifth last season, missing out on Champions League. Their bid for a top four finish in the new season will kick-off against Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park. Arsenal will try to avoid a drubbing in the London derby as Palace ran out 3-0 winners the last time these two met.
The Gunners will play a total of five fixtures in the opening month of August. Following the away game against Palace, Arsenal open their home season against Leicester City on the weekend of August 13.
The months before World Cup, September and October are stacked for the Gunners. They face fierce rivals Manchester United along with Everton and Brentford in September.
While October will see Arsenal clash against Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City with other three games against Leeds, Southampton and Nottingham Forest sandwiched in between.
The first month of the new year only holds three fixtures for them, but all tight ones. Arsenal play Newcastle, Tottenham and United in those three games.
