Recent reports suggest that Arsenal have renewed their interest in PSG’s Yohan Cabaye after the player publicly admitted that he is not happy about his play time in Paris.
The 29-year old joined the French giants in 2013 after excellent performances with Newcastle in Premier League. He is concerned with his play time as it might effect his place in French National Team for Euro 2016 which is to be played in France.
His time in Paris is mostly confined to bench as he comes as a late substitute and does not have enough time to make any impact on the game. He made a mere 18 starts this season in all competitions mostly in the league. He also admitted that the current situation is not good for him.
He recently said, “It is a distinct moment in my career. I have never been through this before. You have to accept it but also try to change it. It is very important for me as I want to play at Euro 2016. I need to speak to the national team coach and my representatives to see what is best for me.”
Cabaye comments have caught the eyes of Arsenal as they have been admirers of his ability since long time and will try to lure him back to Premier League this summer.
