Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has said he would not say no to an offer of managing his former club.
Arsene Wenger’s position at the Emirates has come under severe scrutiny in the last few weeks as his team is in danger of wasting another good start to the season. The 66-year old has one year remaining on his contract with Arsenal, during which he will reach 20 years in charge of the club that he took over in October 1996. The French tactician has led the Gunners to three Premier League titles and six FA Cup final victories during his tenure. However, pressure is mounting on him to deliver a first title success in 13 years.
Arsene Wenger’s men are already looking out of the title race after suffering two successive defeats and calls of removing Wenger has started doing the rounds again. The North London outfit was linked with RB Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhuttl and Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe at one point or another during the ongoing season.
But they have now another option to replace their long-term manager and he is none other than one of their greatest players- Thierry Henry. The former France international is currently the assistant coach of Belgium and has expressed his interest in taking the Arsenal job if an offer arrives in future. At the same time, he admitted that he is still not qualified enough to manage his former club.

“I will not say no (to coaching Arsenal one day),” he admitted to RMC.
“If I say no, I would be lying. I have to respect that there are people who are in place there already. I have not done anything as a coach.
“What I feel for Arsenal is true and (I have felt it) for a long time. I’m not going to say it does not make me cold or hot. I think about it, but I’m far from it,” he added.
