Arsenal Player Ratings: A 6-0 demolition of Ludogorets in the Champions League 1

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal continued their irresistible form from recent times as they put 6 past a helpless Ludogorets side in the group stage encounter of the Champions League on Wednesday.

A treble from Mesut Ozil, the first in his career, along with goals from Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain gave the Gunners all three points on the night and pushed them to the top of the group.

It was an all-round performance from the Gunners who were simply unplayable on the night.

He was tested the most among the Arsenal back line as he was constantly asked questions of the Ludogorets attackers on an uncomfortable night for the full-back.

Stuck to his task well in the middle of the pitch and though did nothing extraordinary, was decent providing cover for the back-four.

Santi Cazorla (6):

Played his role in some exciting passage play for Arsenal in the middle but failed to create a constant impact on the game from the midfield.

Continuing his incredible form recently, Walcott, was once again full of energy on the night on the wing as he also picked himself up a goal with a sumptuous strike for Arsenal’s second on the night.

Came in to replace Cazorla at the hour mark and took his place in the midfield with minimal fuzz.

Lucas Perez (6):

Got half an hour of game time under his belt but did not look like effecting the game for most periods he was on the pitch for the Gunners.

Came in with just 15 minutes to go to replace Alexis Sanchez on the wing and was lively for the few chances he got to get on the ball in the final third.
