Arsenal Player Ratings: Gunners Lose 3-1 To West Brom As They Hit New Lows
Arsenal have slipped further in their league campaign as they are on the risk of not finishing in top four after their 3-1 loss to West Brom on Saturday.
The Gunners are now in fifth position and a win by Manchester United tomorrow will see Arsenal slip to sixth position in the league by the end of week. Craig Dawson put West Brom into early lead before Alexis Sanchez equalized for Arsenal.
However, two more goals by Dawson and Hal Robson-Kanu saw the Baggies roll to victory which put Wenger under more scrutiny. Here we look at the Arsenal’s player ratings after their disappointing loss.
Made a world class save before being subbed off as he hobbled off during the first half.
Looked poor defensively and have failed to make the most of the ball when he had the possession.
Was part of a woeful defense as he failed to cope up against West Brom attack throughout the game.
Struggled in the aerial defense and has been very poor in a below par display by the defense.
Was good going forward but had did little to help his fellow defenders as they are heavily exposed.
Looked poor and was dominated by West Brom midfield as they pressed the Welshman to open the defense.
Looked decent with few high quality passes but could have done better.
Was okay in the game but looked with very less intent despite being one of the senior guys in the team.
Wandered in attacking midfield with little purpose as he failed to make the impact in the centre of the pitch.
Once again their starman but was subbed off as he could be on his way out after the series of poor performances by the club.
Headed the ball to the post in the second half but has largely kept quiet by an organised defense.
