Arsenal Player Ratings In The Impressive 5-1 Victory Over West Ham United

Things seem to get worse and worse for Slaven Bilic’s side as just days after being knocked out of the League Cup, they were humiliated in front of their home crowd by an Arsenal side that was too hot to handle on the night. The Gunners managed to put 5 past West Ham this weekend as Chilean Alexis Sanchez picked up a hat-trick to move to the second place in the points table. This game extends their unbeaten run to 13 league game making them one of the most inform sides in the tournament. Mesut Ozil and Oxlade Chamberlain were also on target but Sanchez, who scored a 14 minutes hat-trick was the man of the day. But here is every Arsenal player’s player ratings for this game:

Had one important save to make early in the game to deny Manuel Lanzini but had a rather comfortable night otherwise.
Gabriel Paulista (6):
Stuck to his task well on the flank in a makeshift role as he provided his side with the solidity at the back that allowed them to put in a 5-star performance at the other end.
Shkodran Mustafi (7):
The summer signing for Wenger, Mustafi, produced yet another commanding performance at the back, establishing himself as the first choice defender for the Gunners this season.
Laurent Koscielny (7):
Put in a superb shift at the back at a time when the Hammers turned on the screws early in the game and managed to have a easy night ever since.
Nacho Monreal (8):
Gave the Hammers a terrible time on the wing as he was a constant presence in the final third, while also managing to keep the home side away from danger at the other end.
Francis Coquelin (7):
Picked up an unnecessary booking the will keep him out of the next game but the midfielder put in an impressive performance in the night to control and command the midfield for the Gunners.
Granit Xhaka (6):
Did nothing out of the ordinary in trying to earn his place in the squad back and did well enough to keep West Ham away from danger on the night.

Slowly grew into the game after scoring his goal, after making a slow start, Ozil, was one of the most effective players on the pitch on both sides.

Missed out on the fun as he was off color and found it hard to link with his teammates in the final third on a frustrating night.
Alex Oxlade Chamberlain (8):
Provided plenty of vigor and pace down the left flank for Arsenal as he drove forward with purpose constantly before capping off his night with a stunning goal.
Alexis Sanchez (10):
If 10 can be give to a performance, this one from Sanchez might just be it. Skillful, energetic and smart, Sanchez, was all over the West Ham defense who had no answers for him on the night. He picked up the assist for Ozil’s goal, scored a hat-trick in 14 minutes and helped Arsenal to yet another victory, growing on to become the most important player for the side. Easily the Man of the Match for this game.
