Arsenal Player ratings: Sanchez, Koscielny continue to impress as Gunners make it five in a row! 1

Arsenal have continued their momentum as they scrapped a goal in injury time to win three points against Burnley at Turf Moor. The result meant Arsenal were able to close the gap to two points to that of Manchester City who had lost to Spurs, earlier in the day.

The win also meant Arsenal have now won a five Premier League games on a spin as they are looking to be a side to beat in the league this season. The Gunners have tried to pressurize Burnley defense throughout the game but has failed to break down a determined Burnley defense.

However, Alex Iwobi have hit a shot into the net which came off Koscielny’s hand as Arsenal won in a controversial style.

Here we look at the Arsenal’s player ratings for the game.

Cech- 7

Had little to do but has looked impressive as he had answers for whatever is thrown at him. Made a great save from Gudmundsson.

Bellerin- 6

Had a quiet game compared to his recent weeks as he looked ineffective making runs into Burnley defense.

Koscielny- 7

The Frenchman continues to impress as he scored the winning goal making him the highest goal-scoring defender for the club in Premier League history. Once again very good in defense as he had little to do.

Mustafi- 7

Was hardly troubled as he looked calm and composed in his tackles. Had little to do as home side did not attack much through the middle.

Monreal- 6

Had a decent game overall as he has looked solid defensively but could have made more forward runs to help out Iwobi.

Cazorla- 6

Was solid to shield defense from Burnley attackers but was not so good in attack as he went forward very few times.

Xhaka- 7

Was the best midfielder for Arsenal in the game as his fearless tackling has helped Arsenal win balls higher up the pitch.

Iwobi- 5.5

The 20-year old has looked little ineffective in the first half but has looked much better after the break as he is very skillful with the ball till he was subbed off for Chamberlain at 64 minutes.

Ozil- 5.5

Continues his woeful form in terms of the end product as he has not looked brilliant in recent weeks but has been impressive with his creative passing.

Walcott- 6

The Englishman has failed to replicate his recent form but has looked impressive making runs at Burnley’s defense causing all troubles to their defenders.

Sanchez- 7

Looked brilliant at times and has caused Burnley’s defense all sorts of problems playing as a central forward. He also drew a good save from goalie Heaton.
