Arsenal are looking to complete more deals before the transfer market shuts this month, with Villarreal winger Yeremy Pino next on their list as reported by GOAL. The 19-year-old has attracted immense attention from the Gunners after a blistering 2021/22 season with the Spanish side. Further on, to accelerate a potential transfer, Arsenal are readying a bid of €40 million for Pino.
The North Londoners have concluded five deals so far, signing Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and Marquinhos. However, manager Mikel Arteta has demanded one more winger after missing out on Leeds United’s Raphinha. While they already snapped up one in Sau Paulo acquisition Marquinhos, Arteta wants another with European experience.

Villarreal bracing up for offers after putting Yeremy Pino on market for €45 million
Yeremy Pino has earned special accolades from many after his dazzling displays last season. He made 40 appearances in all competitions for the Yellow Submarines, scoring 7 goals and assisting 4. Pino has already established himself as a regular at just 19, so far racking up 77 games for Villarreal after his debut in the 2020/21 season.
Despite his talent, Villarreal are ready to part ways with Yeremy Pino given they need cash-infliction for new signings. While they have inserted a release clause of €80 million in his contract which runs till the summer of 2027, Villarreal are willing to accept offers almost around half of it, in the region of €45 million.
Arsenal who are preparing a bid of €40 million, slightly below Villarreal’s expectations, are also ready to shell out €50 million according to various reports. The Gunners are willing to do so since heavyweights Liverpool and Manchester City are also reportedly keeping tabs on the teenager.

Yeremy Pino is wanted by Arteta as a backup for his star winger on the right flank Bukayo Saka who will certainly be needing good amount of rest in a packed schedule. The club’s record signing Nicolas Pepe has failed to deputise Saka on the right flank and could also be sold this summer.
Furthermore, considering Arsenal’s latest recruitments the club are building for the present as well as the future with all of their signings well below the age of 25. Pino would perfectly slot in the Londoners’ plans and vision having plenty of experience before even turning 20. He also boasts 17 games under his belt in European competitions with 7 coming in the Champions League, 9 in the Europa and one in the Super Cup.
Yeremy Pino is also reportedly tempted with the chance of playing at bigger stage in the Premier League. Moreover, given his qualities he will certainly get enough games with the Gunners who have a stacked calendar ahead.
