Arsenal were given a huge injury boost as right back Carl Jenkinson has returned to training after being sidelined for nearly nine months due to cruciate ligament injury.
The defender could be match ready by the time of their EFL Cup tie against Reading next month and would provide more options for Wenger in defense.
He tweeted: “Back in full training tomorrow (Monday). Feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve.”
