Arsene Wenger is not keen to sign too many new players this winter as the Frenchman is busy with resolving the futures of five of the big stars at the club, according to The Sun.
The Gunners will wait until next summer to make a move for a new star but before that Wenger is determined to extend the contracts of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud, Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla.
All the aforementioned players’ contract are due to expire in the next 18 months and Wenger is keen to keep hold of the core of the squad at the club beyond their current contracts.
