Arsenal Send Scouts To Watch Key Juventus And Roma Target

Arsenal are interested in signing the Serie A midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, according to reports in Italy.

The 20-year old is considered as one of the brightest young talents in the league and he is doing justification to his tag by performing exceptionally well for Serie A club Sassuolo Calcio this season.

He has already scored seven goals and provided five assists so far making him one of the most important players at the club. The young midfielder have joined the club from AS Roma in 2015 and have since grown into becoming one of the finest young talents in the country.

And Italian media outlet Tuttosport claims that the Gunners are interested in the U-21 Italian international.

Arsenal have sent scouts to watch Pellegrini in action as his side lost 1-0 to AC Milan this weekend and the report claims that the Gunners are currently monitoring the progress of the youngster as he can be a potential target in the summer.

However, it will not be easy to buy the prodigy as he was brought up from AS Roma academy and the club has inserted a buy-back clause in his contract before selling him to their league rivals.

The Italian giants can sign him in any window and have the first right to the refusal as they can sign him for a mere £8.5million if they wish to. Meanwhile, Italian champions Juventus are also keeping a close eye on the youngster as they are ready to make a move if Roma fails to act.

Pellegrini still has a contract with Sassuolo till 2020 and it remains to be seen whether the central midfielder will make a move at such tender age which could hamper his playing time at big clubs like Juventus, Roma or Arsenal.
