Arsenal Back In The Race For Real Madrid Star, Negotiations Could Start Anytime!!
Arsenal are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Real Madrid star Isco who has heavily tipped to leave Santiago Bernabeu in the ongoing transfer window.
The Spain international, who signed for the Los Blancos in 2013, is still struggling to cement his spot in the starting eleven and has started in only 12 of his 17 appearances across all competitions this season. Moreover, Real boss Zinedine Zidane has changed his formation from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3 which has made his chances of becoming a first-team regular even bleaker. The 24-year old played in a free role behind Cristiano Ronaldo as a lone striker during the 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid this season but Zidane changed his preferred formation only because of injuries. But now that the likes of Toni Kroos, Luca Modric and Casemeiro have recovered from their injuries, it will be tough for Isco to start games.
On the other hand, Arsenal are in dire need of a good midfielder to keep their title challenge on track. Their influential midfielder Santi Cazorla is currently on the sidelines after undergoing surgeries on the plantaris tendon in his right ankle last month and is not expected to return until the middle of February, at the earliest, making Arsene Wenger short on options in the midfield. Furthermore, the influential midfielder has been tipped to quit the Emirates next year. His current contract with the Gunners expires after this season and he is yet to sign a new deal which is a clear indication that the club is planning life after him.
Furthermore, the Spanish midfielder has been tipped to quit the Emirates next year. His current contract with the Gunners expires after this season and he is yet to sign a new deal. The Gunners have clearly struggled in his absence and Wenger will be keen to bring in a new player to save his season. Mesut Ozil is out of action too due to illness and has looked off-colour in recent weeks.
And The Express has reported Arsene Wenger is keen to bring Isco at the Emirates to solve his midfield woes. The Gunners are currently fifth in the table, eight points shy of leaders Chelsea and another poor result will more or less end their title hopes.
