Arsenal Star Face Late Fitness Test Ahead of Hull City Clash 1

Arsenal are set to assess the condition of midfielder Mohamed Elneny ahead of their crucial Premier League clash against Hull City.

The Gunners are in dismal form in the recent weeks as they have lost two Premier League games in a row to Watford and Chelsea. Arsenal are desperate to win the game against Hull City away this weekend as they are keen to end their losing streak.

Having fallen away behind in title race with their recent collapses, Arsenal would love to win the game this weekend as they face a stern test when they visit Allianz Arena next week to play against Bayern Munich in Champions League.

According to Daily Mail, the club are happy to have Elneny back with the club as the player have played for Egypt in the recently concluded AFCON cup. Elneny played the full game in which Egypt lost to Cameron 2-1 in the continental tournament final in Gabon earlier this week.

The 24-year old has issues with his calf and the club have reportedly cleared him for the game against Hull. The visit to Hull will not be an easy task for Arsenal as the Tigers are in sensational form.

Hull have clinched a point at Old Trafford and have defeated Liverpool comprehensively by 2-0 last weekend. Wenger will have only Francis Coquelin as a proper holding midfielder in his roster as Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey are ruled out with injuries.

Meanwhile, Granit Xhaka is still serving his three-game ban after his red card against Burnley and will not be available for selection. The club have used Alex Oxlade-Chamberlian and Alex Iwobi in the holding midfield due to lack of options and found only little success as both the players have failed to live up to the expectations.

Arsenal will have a tough time at KCOM stadium this weekend but a win in the match would be the perfect chance for Gunners to rediscover their lost confidence ahead of their clash with Bayern Munich.
