As per the latest reports, Arsenal striker Joel Campbell has agreed to move away from the Gunners to join Turkish giants Fenerbahce. The 22-year old joined Arsenal back in 2011 but failed to break in to first team.
With the resurgence of Oliver Giroud and an expected arrival of Jackson Martinez means there is no chance for the young striker to break in to the side next season. Arsenal are reportedly willing to sell three forwards to make money for Jackson Martinez transfer.
Despite his 2014 World Cup performances, the Costa Rican was benched in most of the matches and was eventually loaned out to Spanish outfit Villareal. Arsenal are now considering to let the player move out permanently after failing to break into the team in the past 4 years.
Turkish club Fenerbahce are reportedly willing to sign the player as reports suggest they have agreed personal terms with Campbell and the club’s sporting director also has good relationship with Arsene Wenger which could make the deal happen in the next few days.
Turkish giants Glatasaray and Spanish outfit Real Sociedad are also reportedly interested in the player services.
