Arsenal transfer target Petr Cech can be available for transfer this summer. The Czech international is limited to just five league appearences this season and is looking to move away from Chelsea to get regular first team action.
With only 18 appearences throughout the season, the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool are ready to lure him away from Stamford Bridge by offering first team action. Cech did manage to keep 5 clean sheets in 5 league games which shows he still has lot of football left in him.
Cech have become Chelsea’s No.2 goal keeper with the arrival of Thibaut Courtois after a three year loan spell at Atletico Madrid where he emerged one of the serious young talents. He was able to play in Captial One Cup final where he again managed a clean sheet in Chelsea’s triumph over Spurs.
Unsuprisingly, with his class he has made a host of clubs around Europe interested in him with the likes of Real Madrid, PSG outside England.
Jose Mourinho has spoken about Petr Cech on Tuesday in pre-match media conference. He said, “If he tells me he wants to go in the summer, [he is] one of the best goalkeepers in the world, huge money.”
He also admitted he would not try to influence the goal keeper’s decision by adding: “I don’t think Petr is a guy to be persuaded. I don’t think Petr needs anyone to persuade him. He will make his decision.
“When he makes his decision, he is very mature to make what he feels is the best decision for him and his future. I will just wait and wish that his decision is to stay. I would like him very much to stay. I don’t waste my time trying to persuade him.”
