As per the latest reports, Arsenal have set their sights on Manchester City Edin Dzeko this summer after missing out on their primary transfer target Jackson Martinez. The Colombian who has been heavily linked to Arsenal in recent weeks have signed for Italian club AC Milan yesterday as confirmed by Porto president.
Arsenal are in the market to add a quality striker to their ranks this summer as they are looking to win Premier League next season. The Bosnian could be a key addition as he failed to impress at City this season.
The Citizens are reportedly willing to sell the 29-year old as he has failed to be effective during the injury time of James Milner. Arsene Wenger is an admirer of the striker and would love to have him in his side as he is ready to spend £15m to seal a move.
However, Manchester City are looking for a bid in the region of £20m to let the player go. The player still has four years left in his contract at City and Arsenal need to spend big to sign the player.
Edin Dzeko would be a viable option for Arsenal as he provides as lot of aerial threat to their attack and he is a proven striker in Premier League. With Gunners missing on Jackson Martinez, Edin Dzeko is probably the best option they have got in the market.
