Jonny Evans now on Wenger’s transfer list:
In what could be the story of the day for Arsenal, Arsene Wenger is now looking at former Manchester United star Jonny Evans to add to his defense next season.
The injury to Per Mertesacker has seen the manager search for a quality centre-back and wants to prize Evans away from West Brom this summer. The 28-year old is an experienced defender who will be available at just £15million and will be a good addition to the squad.
However, it is to be seen if the Baggies are ready to let him leave this summer and if Arsenal are ready to splash the cash.
