Arsenal’s other priority transfer target Mauro Icardi seemed to be slowly slipping away from the Emirates.
It was earlier reported that Chelsea have stolen a lead in the race for his signature but it is now revealed that Napoli, who sold Gonzalo Higuain on a huge deal are ready to make a £53.2m bid that is said to be enough to land the Argentine this summer.
