Arsenal’s final league game of the season has them 99.9% sure of an automatic qualification spot for the Champions League. The only scenario where they can finish 4th is if Manchester United win by a huge margin and Arsenal loses as Goal difference of Gunners in 32 while that of Luis van Gaal’s men is 25.

Manager Arsène Wenger in pre-match confernece spoke of a season of progress. Arsenal fans, on the other hand, are just relieved to not worry about a top-four place on the final day, but there are few murmurs from Gunners faithful  on their team’s failure to score in last 3 successive home games which ahead of next Saturday’s FA Cup final does not bode well.

Meanwhile, Tony Pulis’s Albion are safe and on back of a 3-0 hammering of champions elect Chelsea. Sure they will eye a win at Emirates to end on a happy note.

Opta Stats:

1. Arsenal have won six and lost none of their last seven Premier League matches against West Bromwich Albion.

2. Tonly Pulis’ men have never kept a clean sheet against Arsenal in the Premier League (35 goals conceded in 17 matches).

3. Arsenal are unbeaten on the final day in each of the last nine seasons, the longest current run.
