Arsenal vs Middlesbrough: Predicted lineups 1

Arsenal will square off against Middlesbrough in Premier League this weekend as they look to extend their good run of form in the league with a win against the newly promoted side.

The Gunners are on a roll after a slow start to the season as they have now won six Premier League games in a row and are on the top of the Premier League table along with Manchester City.

Arsenal is a clear favorite for the game which will be played at Emirates as Middlesbrough are currently looking to stay in the Premier League. The Boro are keen to avoid relegation as they are currently in the 17th position in the league.

Here we look at the probable lineup of Arsenal for the clash against Middlesbrough this weekend.

Petr Cech will be starting between the sticks as the Arsenal No.1 is their main man when it comes to the domestic circuit despite Wenger preferring Ospina for European competition.

Bellerin who has been in spectacular form will be in the position of a right back while fellow Spaniard Monreal is expected to be fielded on the other side of the defense.

One of the main reasons for a solid defensive record of Gunners is the duo of Mustafi and Koscielny as they looked at their absolute best since the arrival of Mustafi. The duo is expected to be given yet another start which could prove crucial for Gunners if they were to tighten their grip on the top of the table.

Granit Xhaka was sent off against Swansea City last weekend and will be serving a three-match ban starting from Boro clash. With the Swiss midfielder suspended, Arsene Wenger would opt for Cazorla and Coquelin as the latter has become fit since suffering a knee injury against Chelsea last month.

Theo Walcott who has been in the form of his life is expected to start on the right side of the attack as the English forward is recreating himself in the attack this season as he has already surpassed his goal scoring records of last season.

Young Iwobi, who has impressed Wenger in the opportunities he got so far, is expected to start on the let side of the attack. German star Mesut Ozil who has regained his form over the last couple of weeks is set to star in No.10 role as he looks to maintain the form he showed against Ludogorets this mid-week.

Alexis Sanchez who has been the most dominant attacking player in the squad would be an automatic starter as the central forward as he would look to continue his impressive form against Middlesbrough.
