Making a move to Arsenal for £6m as a 23-year old from Ipswich, Wright was one of the worst goalkeepers at his price to have made the starting XI for Arsenal. He is still deemed as one of the worst usage of transfer funds by the club and has never been able to shrug off the effects the England national had on them.
