Under-fire Arsene Wenger has said he has no plans of quitting Arsenal soon and is looking to extend his managerial career at the Emirates.
The long-serving Arsenal manager is under immense pressure after his side is in danger of wasting another good start to the season. The North London outfit is already looking out of the Premier League race after two defeats in the last three games have put them 10 points behind leaders Chelsea.
Their already poor-looking campaign took another huge blow after they suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the first leg of UEFA Champions League’s last 16 round.
The call to remove Wenger from his post is stronger than ever but the French tactician is adamant of managing the Gunners for few more years.
He said: “My preference is always to manage Arsenal and I’ve shown that throughout my time here.
“But I’m adult enough to analyse the situation.”

Citing for Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s example, Wenger further said that he want his managerial career to pan out in a similar fashion.
“Ferguson had some other interests in life and was older than I am today,” he said.
“He was four years older, he retired at 71 and I’m 67. I do not want to take anything away from Ferguson, he was an absolutely unbelievable manager.
“But he had enough — and I’m not at that stage,” the 67-year old.
Meanwhile, Arsenal would be looking to get back to winning ways when they make the trip to non-League Sutton United in the FA Cup fifth round on Monday night.
