According to latest reports, Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic have drawn interest from Arsenal. Arsene Wenger has been a huge fan of the striker and have tried to bring the striker to London multiple times but failed.
However, reports suggest that the 28-year old striker have fallen out with manager Diego Simeone and he is consdering a move away from Vicente Calderón this summer. Arsenal was heavily linked to the striker in January but Atletico was not willing to sell the striker then, but a move to Arsenal is very much on the cards with the recent incidents.
Arsenal valued him at £15.8million and will make a summer bid this season. The player have earlier fallen out with Bayern Munich’s Pep Guardiola and eventually moved to Atletico Madrid last summer.
The addition of Mandzukic will be a huge boost to Arsenal as they do not have other options to often mis-firing Oliver Giroud. Mandzukic’s ability to help in defense and to create spaces in the final third makes him a favorite for Arsene Wenger over the years.Given his work rate, Mandzukic will be an instant hit in Premier League.
Mandzukic has already scored 20 goals in 32 games this season since moving from Bayern Munich last season.
