If one has to name a big team that is suffering from the huge forward crisis that it has to be Barcelona. The Spanish giants are constantly failing to achieve something in quite a time. The team that used to the best team in the world even just a number of years ago are struggling really badly nowadays.

One of their biggest issues has been their forward line. Lionel Messi has been the only consistent player in the squad, but he is edging closer to his 34th birthday. Antoine Griezmann is scoring goals but he is not as consistent as he was at Atletico Madrid. Ousmane Dembele is pretty inconsistent too and Martin Braithwaite has been terribly out of form. Young talents like Ansu Fati and Pedri are still too young to make a huge impact.

But rumors are floating around that Barcelona may sell three players to sign Haaland. One of them being the striker we named earlier in this story; Antoine Griezmann. The Frenchman has not really been that bad for the Spanish side if one looks at his stats, but it certainly does not justify his huge price tag of €120 million. It is rumored that Barca may offer Griezmaan plus cash for Haaland.

And it is rumored that Liverpool is looking forward to signing Umtiti as a potential alternative to Joe Gomez. Umtiti can play very good football but it does not seem like he has any future at Barcelona.

Moreover, Barcelona is desperate to sign Erling Haaland as it seems and the Norwegian can actually solve a lot of problems for the Spanish giants.
