Shocking! Barcelona Want Forgotten Watford Man To Replace Injured First Team Star 1

The Premier League is host to some of the brightest talents in world football so it does not come as a surprise that some of the biggest teams in Europe have an eye on stars in teams around the country.

Over the years, some of the biggest stars in Europe have practiced their trade in the Premier League and that legacy is set to continue for years to come.

And reports from Spanish news outfit AS, Barcelona are scouting at the Vicarage Road for their next potential star.

The Spanish giants have not had a great season so far as they are currently behind Real Madrid in the domestic league. They were humiliated by PSG in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the Champions League last week and are close to an exit.

Though they are in with a shot at the Copa del Rey, Luis Enrique will know that his team is in danger of making their season a failure.

And they were dealt a huge blow when it was revealed that full-back Aleix Vidal is ruled out for the rest of the season.

The 27-year old Spanish defender is currently the first choice at the club but he picked up a nasty injury earlier in the month and is now ruled out for the rest of the season.

According to the rules in the La Liga, Barcelona are now allowed to make an emergency signing to cover for his injury and Watford star Juanfran is high up their wishlist.

The Catalan giants need a backup option now with Sergi Roberto expected to start in that position and they are ready to make a move for the Watford star in the upcoming days.

The 28-year old joined Watford from Real Betis before the start of the previous season but is yet to make an appearance for the English side in any competition.

The Catalan giants are also looking at Malaga’s Roberto Rosales as a potential option but are determined to land the 28-year old before the end of the month.
